Wedding Rentals - What To Add To Make Your Wedding Special

There are so many amazing rental items available to customize the look of your wedding! But where do you start with knowing what you need? Here are some basics that you can bring in to any venue:

  • specialty tables and chairs

  • specialty tablecloths and napkins

  • specialty chargers, china, glassware or flatware

  • dance floor

  • soft seating (lounge furniture)

  • draping

  • ceremony chairs

  • unique bar

  • accent lighting, such as uplighting, string lighting, gobos or pin spotting

Reserving Rental Items

We asked Jenifer Wolcott of All About Events some commonly asked questions about rentals:

When should I place an order for rental items? Our team here at All About Events gets this question more than any other! We always advise our customers to reserve as soon as they know they want the items, no matter how far out they are in the planning process. Most rental companies work on a first come, first serve basis. Reserving early is the best way to ensure you get exactly what you want.

When are payments due? To reserve your rentals, a 50% nonrefundable deposit is required. This will guarantee the items available for you on your date. Final payments are due 14 days prior to delivery or customer pick up.

Can I make changes to my order? Of course! We understand that needs and guest counts change. We will gladly add to an order up to the day of delivery, if the inventory request can be accommodated. Reductions can be made up until 9am the day prior to delivery.

Can I get a tent at the last minute if it rains? Yes, we are happy to keep your event nice and dry! However, again, because we are a first come, first serve business, you run the risk of a tent and/or delivery not being available. Early planning is the best way to ensure availability. If the threat of rain is substantial, I highly recommend reserving a tent and committing to making that tent a beautiful part of your special event.

For a tented wedding, in addition to the tent itself you may want:

  • pole covers

  • ceiling draping

  • lighting

  • dance floor

  • stage for DJ/band

  • generator

  • climate control

  • generator for power

  • clear side walls

  • tables/chairs/linens/etc

  • restrooms

  • separate catering tent
