“How Do I Get On Your Vendor List?”

We get many emails and phone calls from wedding professionals, asking to be added to our preferred vendors list. And usually, these emails and phone calls are from companies we've never heard of or worked with.

We’re not sure which is more surprising - that other wedding planners may actually build a vendor list this way, or that the companies that send these emails think that this method will get them more business.

We're Wedding Planners, Not A Directory

When we refer our clients to other companies, it's based on a number of factors: the style of the wedding, the location, the couples' personalities and budget, just to name a few. We also only refer companies that we have worked with, or that have stellar reputations from other wedding professionals we trust. We don't hand our clients a list and say "good luck!"

To Us, It’s Personal

When a client needs a recommendation for their wedding, we want to be sure that they receive top-notch service from the companies we refer. We gain that trust by building relationships, and our vendor database has over 1,000 entries. We want to match our clients with just the right fit for their wedding or event, so we give them 3-5 vetted recommendations to choose from - after all, it’s their wedding.
